Biography

A. Fejfar specializes to physics of thin films of nanostructured semiconductors for application in solar cells and photonics. From 2017 to 2021 he served a term as the president of Council for Sciences, member of the Academic Council and a member of Academic Council of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He is a deputy director of the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences and head of Department of Thin Films and Nanostructures. He cochairs the organization of the series of international summer schools on Physics at Nanoscale.
